About this Report
In this report, we examine the diversity of individuals who contribute to the Salesforce ecosystem by breaking down their workflow and goals while studying the tools and resources they use to build and develop products. In Chapter one, we contextualisethe respondents who replied to the survey by looking at their relationship with Salesforce and their reported job titles. Chapter two is devoted to acquiring a better understanding of who is working on Salesforce. Finally, we break down the tools that individuals working in the Salesforce ecosystem are using by the tool type; with a specific focus on declarative vs programming tools.

In Q1 2023, SlashData designed and ran an online survey in conjunction with Salesforce to better understand those who contribute to, and collectively enhance, Salesforce’s rich ecosystem.
