Methodology
Segmented groups enable businesses to take a tailored approach when interacting with a population of interest. In this report, we focus on the second most popular development sector behind Software-as-a-Service: backend development. 42% of developers surveyed in Q3 2023 reported some involvement in backend development. Here, we analyse almost 6,000 backend developers from around the world using segmentation analysis to offer insights for companies seeking to take advantage of a tailored approach for targeted marketing, strategic decision-making, and/or resource allocation.
