Methodology
This report looks into the demographics and firmographics of cloud-native developers, as well as looking into their choice of programming languages and cloud service providers. These are all contrasted against backend developers who are not cloud-native developers. Finally, we investigate the specific technologies at the centre of cloud-native development and their popularity among cloud-native developers. This includes container orchestration technologies, cloud functions, and serverless computing.
